So precious, healing and comforting. Enjoy this beautiful song by Kendra Scott, especially while you’re falling asleep. 🙂
It might seem like there is empty space that needs to be filled up with activity and words. However, since God — divine Spirit and Life — fill all space, there really is no “vacuum” or void. Each moment is already filled with a divine activity. Each consciousness is already filled with messages of Love, health, hope and faith.
Tuning in to these messages and activity with our spiritual sense really makes us feel fulfilled and satisfied. After all, if each moment were filled with divine messages of love for you, wouldn’t you feel full and satisfied? 🙂
More human thinking isn’t needed; more divine reflection is. We can reflect one who and what God is; we can reflect on the spiritual nature of man; we can reflect on eternal Life — the timeless spiritual state of being; we can feel the peace, which comes from unconditional grace and Love.
Spiritual listening is an active faculty we can utilize each moment. It will open you up to new opportunities! It will give you new thoughts and views that you had never considered before! It will make you feel peace and open new doorways of progress!
Enjoy the divine peace, messages and serenity of Love today. It is everywhere.
I was praying for humanity this morning and as I was affirming God’s goodness and care, I realized that God also protects each individual consciousness from thoughts of depression, bad memories and fear.
I had an experience several weeks ago that showed me that what we would term our experience is actual our consciousness.
I was lying in bed with a cold, and I was praying and affirming different ideas about God, divine Love and my relationship to this ever-present Source of Love. I’ve found that allowing a greater understanding of God in my consciousness brings healing, even from physical ailments.
I was listening to an online church service. And because I was participating in this church service virtually, I became so aware of how our experience really is in consciousness. I realized that there is no “over there” and “over here”. In other words, we don’t live in a world of things, we live in a world of thought. God is the only real consciousness and we live, move and have our being in His (or Her or It’s) consciousness. So the only real “place” is God.
This thought was such a relief to me.; and I saw that I could always have what I need because I am always dwelling in divine consciousness. There is no time, separation or lack in this consciousness. There is only eternal, ever-present good, peace, and harmony.
I was relieved and refreshed by this new insight. And as a result the physical symptoms of a cold abated. I was healed and ready to return to work the next day.
This experience helped me see that I can pray for the consciousness of all humanity and know that a realization of our oneness with divine consciousness is natural and normal to each of us. This gives us peace, a sense of family, harmony and love that can’t be taken away by “outside” circumstances.
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways my ways, says the Lord.
For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” Isa 55:8-9
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” Jer 29:11
“Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus…” Phil 2:5
In this blog post, beautiful experiences are shared of becoming conscious of our spiritual being here and now (and at a time when it was needed most).
I was reading the weekly Bible lesson this morning (which is comprised of citations from the Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures) and it talks about “denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world” (Titus 2:12).
I began thinking about how the Christ (the activity of God) “saves” us from sin.
I think popular theology says we are “saved” from sin so that we don’t go to hell afterwards and have eternal life.
However, Scientific understanding realizes “sin” (or ‘missing the mark’ as the Latin implies) to be a kind of cloud that covers up God’s light, grace, and love.
So this “salvation” from sin, is actually saving us right now in this present moment. Sin results from the belief that we are separated from God, good, divine Love. But we are not and never have been separated with that Love. We are at one with God, divine Love, right now.
When we live in accord with God’s spiritual nature we are open and receptive to more light, more opportunity and God’s blessings. We are magnifying good, which is another term for God, and therefore we experience more good in our lives. We are able to have better, more enriched relationships; confidence in knowing God is supplying all of our home, financial, and job-related needs; and a greater sense of peace along with loving our neighbor & communities better.
So this salvation isn’t meant to deprive us of all the joys of material living now so we can have eternal bliss after. It is realizing, since God is Spirit, to live in accord with Spirit, to be at-one with Spirit, is where true goodness, peace, and, therefore, happiness comes from. This is realizing eternal life now – the seamlessness and continuity of life, being, and existence right now.
