A lesson on healing and innocence from Job

Job, from The Bible, shows us an incredible example of searching and taking a stand for experiencing and understanding more of God’s presence and power.

Do we have thoughts coming to us that sound like Job’s “friends”? “You don’t deserve to be healed. You must have done something wrong. You’re a sinner.” (See the book of Job). We probably all do.

Standing up to these thoughts isn’t a self-righteous thing, but a spiritual longing to see our innocence and freedom from sin and disease. Job hadn’t done anything wrong to deserve the pain that he was faced with. And ultimately reaching out to God enabled him to stand in the presence of God (to become fully aware of the Truth of His existence and power) so that Job was healed and saved.

What if we have done something wrong? Do we still have the right to be healed? To take a stand for our spiritual freedom Yes! Coming face to face with our mistakes and correcting them enables us to move past them. And this redemption comes from the basis of knowing, in reality, we are the spiritual, pure and perfect children of God, so it is natural to be healthy, live righteously and behave compassionately.

Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need.

This was certainly true in the case of Job. When enemy thoughts were all around, he was still able to discern his innocence and right to freedom. We can take that stand, too.

Christ, the universal message of Truth and Love, is present in thought to bring about healing.

Looking for better health?

http://pixabay.com/en/freedom-jump-reach-silhouettes-307791/Health is a characteristic of every aspect of being:
healthy relationships, healthy home, healthy business, etc.

Health is not so much about what you eat, drink and how you exercise — these are all expressions of your health.

Health is your God-given state of being and consciousness.

The true consciousness is the true health.
(Miscellaneous Writings, Mary Baker Eddy, p. 298)

Health is the…the absolute consciousness of harmony and of nothing else.
(Rudimental Divine Science, Mary Baker Eddy, p. 11)

These passages illustrates that mental nature of health.

Here is another one from the Bible:

Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear [appreciate, revere, love] the Lord and shun evil.
This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones.
(Proverbs 3:7-8 NIV)

Health is an inherent component of your relationship to God.

Bring health into every aspect of what you do.

Express:
Healthy order
Healthy love
Healthy creativity
Healthy balance
Healthy satisfaction
Healthy spontaneity
Healthy freedom

Health is the perfect balance and embodiment of spiritual qualities.

Live your divine heritage of health and spirituality in all that you say and do!

Is healing through spiritual means really possible today?

shining-starHealing through prayer, through an understanding of our relationship to God, is natural and normal. It is like light filling the darkness so there is nothing else.

Healing through spiritual means may seem far-fetched or intangible to some and that is because matter seems so real and tangible to consciousness.

Everything that we truly love, everything that is good in our experience, is actual spiritual and permanent. Matter is simply a miscategorization of things. The substance of all that we cherish and value is spiritual and therefore it is ever-present and harmonious.

So, healing actually takes place in consciousness. It is an improved state of thought. It is fear, limitation and lack being put out for a divine understanding of wholeness, justice, and peace.

“For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.” (I Corinthians 13:12)

“…put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.” (Ephesians 4:24 NIV)

We can strive to have this understanding and “put on” our real self-hood made in the image and likeness of God right now!

Heaven and earth are not two separate physical locations.

Here is one definition of heaven that I like:
“HEAVEN. Harmony; the reign of Spirit, government of divine Principle; spirituality; bliss; the atmosphere of Soul.” (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, Mary Baker Eddy, p. 587)

In an interview, Anita Moorjani, author of the book Dying to Be Me (who was healed of cancer through a positive change in her outlook about herself), says:

“In that realm I felt this incredible unconditional love and I knew that love was my birthright and it lifted my awareness.”

“In that state of clarity I realized it was incredibly simple — that heaven is loving and valuing yourself and knowing you are deserving and worthy. It didn’t matter whether I had a physical body. Whether I was in that realm or not, heaven was the same thing. It was about knowing this love and being aware of our connection to it. When your realize that you are worthy and deserving of everything God is, then you experience heaven.”

The more we get past thinking about heaven as a far off place, the more we can start recognizing this heaven here and now.

Christ Jesus proved the fallacy, or nothingness, of each claim of lack, sin and disease through his healing prayer. He demonstrated through his life and healing ministry that the law and will of God is restoration, health, wholeness and love for all, regardless of history or demographic.

St. Paul continued the mission of Christ by showing to that the Kingdom of Heaven is a tangible reality for all.

Christ Jesus commanded his followers to “Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give.” (Matthew 10:8 NIV)

This shows that all men, women and children have spiritual authority over these phases of evil and limitation.

We don’t have to wait for some future time to know and understand this. We can live the life that Christ Jesus demonstrated. We can heal ourselves and others through spiritual means (through an uplifted consciousness and awareness of God, good) right here and now because we have the will of God, which is unconditional love and goodness for all, enforcing itself for everyone.
