A conversation with God

God is always speaking to us. Not that God is a chatterbox. But God’s angel messages and intuitions are ALWAYS guiding, guarding and loving us. We each have a unique relationship with a precious Creator.

We are either turning away from this utterance, or we are listening to it and going up higher.

This conversation with God — this prayer that never ceases — blesses us and lifts us up.

God already knows everything that we need and is happily providing it. So we don’t need to worry about if He will or will not do that. But prayer does change us — it opens us up to hearing His messages of love, patience and healing; prayer even heals the body through thought — a spiritual consciousness which is then manifest on the body as perfection, health and wholeness.

Prayer also guides and protects; we have all heard of countless instances of God’s protecting love guiding humans when and when not to do or say something.

What about the perpetrators of violence? Terrorists? Yes, all are capable of hearing the “still, small voice” of Life, Truth and Love guiding and protecting everyone with a pure sense of love, a courage to do what is good, and a humble and meek spirit that is willing to listen and find peaceful solutions for all humanity.

God’s love is bigger than fear. God’s love is more present and more attractive than messages of hate, lack, bitterness, resentment and violence.

Each of us are the spiritual and pure children of God. These healthy, loving messages of God are pouring on us all the time! We have to tune out the “static” and tune in to God. Then we will see everyone as rightly governed by God — our natural, normal state of being.

Man is properly self-governed only when he is guided rightly and governed by his Maker, divine Truth and Love.

So let’s all tune in to the messages of Love that come from God and that lead us to a feeling of peace and reveal solutions.

Expand and express more of your spiritual individuality

In life, we probably have to fulfill a lot of different roles, and as we grow in life these roles only multiply.

Rather than feeling daunted by all the demands we have to fulfill, though, we can see each demand, each moment, as an opportunity to reflect God.

God is infinite, so the roles that we have in life are actually a reflection of Him.

For instance, I am a wife, mother, daughter, sister, practitioner, colleague, friend, etc.

Each one of these is actually a fulfillment of God. We are expressing God’s eternal nature and infinite individuality.

Spirit, Life, Truth, Love, combine as one, — and are the Scriptural names for God. All substance, intelligence, wisdom, being, immortality, cause, and effect belong to God.

Nothing can be demanded of us that God, divine Love, isn’t fulfilling.

Truth, Life, and Love are the only legitimate and eternal demands on man, and they are spiritual lawgivers…

So as you’re going about your day, you don’t need to feel that you are being stretched thin. You are EXPANDING to express more of your spiritual individuality — expressing more of Infinite Spirit (to whom all good is possible).

How does Christian Science heal?

You were not created by material DNA, heredity or history.

You are spiritual because you were created by God, who is Spirit.

It is almost so simple that we overlook it!

“But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.” II Cor 13

“To being rightly is to end rightly.” So, if  you reason from the premise that you are created spiritually and that God’s message of goodness, safety and health is constantly defending you, uplifting you and healing you then you can be completely free from sin and disease.

“The foundation of mortal discord is a false sense of man’s origin. To begin rightly is to end rightly. Every concept which seems to begin with the brain begins falsely. Divine Mind is the only cause or Principle of existence. Cause does not exist in matter, in mortal mind, or in physical forms. ” (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, Mary Baker Eddy, p. 262)

You don’t have to accept that there is a material law which can make you sick.

This is the “mist” referred to in the Bible. Rise above the mist!

Don’t accept fear, ignorance or sin as a reality for you.

God made you spiritually therefore you can not be afraid.

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. (Psalms 23:4 NIV)

God made you to know Him — to know His eternal laws of health and goodness for you and your family — therefore you can’t be made to believe that there is a material law that governs you.

I will put my laws in their hearts, and I will write them on their minds. (Hebrews 10:16 NIV)

God made you pure and childlike, therefore “missing the mark” (sin) can not control you; you have complete satisfaction and authority in God.

For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

Christian Science — these divine, eternal, and universal laws of God, good, health and harmony — govern you, me and everyone.

Take possession of your consciousness, rise above the mist and experience God’s loving control over your health and life.

You will be made whole! And you can help others recognize their wholeness, too.
