Living with intentionality

I love intentionality because it promotes such a feeling of appreciation, satisfaction, and presence.

Intentionality can take things from ordinary to extraordinary.

My husband and I were talking about how we like to practice this. We just discovered the Netflix show “Tidying Up with Marie Kondo”. We love the spirit of intentionality, appreciation, and joy that it promotes and we adapted some of the practices in our own home.

Intentionality can also be expressed in our relationships and in being with friends. Finding ways to value others and being thoughtful about what you say and do is a fun practice to have. When this happens everyone has the opportunity to feel the presence of divine Love.

In the same way, we can love and cherish our minds — our consciousness — like we do our home. We can tidy up our thinking by getting rid of unwanted thoughts. We don’t need to allow fear, despair, or excess materialism in our mental space. We can instead allow love, spirituality, joy, harmony, and peace in our minds.

I love the council given in this quote:

…keep your minds so filled with Truth and Love…It is plain that nothing can be added to the mind already full…The right thinker abides under the shadow of the Almighty. His thoughts can only reflect peace, good will towards men, health, and holiness. –Mary Baker Eddy

In other words, your mind is like a house — a spiritual space that you want to keep fresh, inspired, and sacred. This spiritual discipline has many benefits and blesses your life in many ways including your health, home, and success.

Enjoy living and thinking intentionally today!
