Fear not…you are safe

angel-427478_1280The Kingdom of Heaven is the safest place you can dwell.

This Kingdom is the consciousness of love, peace, and harmony — a selfless, divine Love for all men, women and children. This selfless, divine Love surrounds you and embraces you. You are safe in this Love. Meditate on this fact; rest in it.

No fear or worry about disease or death is part of this consciousness. No fear or worry is part of you. No fear or worry is in the atmosphere of divine Love, the Kingdom of Heaven.

We do not live in a physical space or time. You need to expand your sense of safety to know that you are safe because you live in Love — not because you live near or far away from conflict.

The Bible includes countless examples of God’s protection and power in times of war, famine and pestilence. Daniel was safe in the lion’s den, the three boys were safe in the furnace of fire (see Daniel 3 and 6), to give just a couple examples.

Why? Because the consciousness of Love has no sense of pain or fear. It can only see and know It’s own perfect reality. God is never afraid, never fears for His creation or manifestation. So, His likeness can not be made to fear.

You are safe in Love today. You can rest assured, not because of a physical place or location, but because you rest in the infinitude of Love. This is the safest place — or consciousness — in which you can dwell.

“Whoever dwells in the shelter [consciousness] of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.” Psalm 91, NIV

Is healing through spiritual means really possible today?

shining-starHealing through prayer, through an understanding of our relationship to God, is natural and normal. It is like light filling the darkness so there is nothing else.

Healing through spiritual means may seem far-fetched or intangible to some and that is because matter seems so real and tangible to consciousness.

Everything that we truly love, everything that is good in our experience, is actual spiritual and permanent. Matter is simply a miscategorization of things. The substance of all that we cherish and value is spiritual and therefore it is ever-present and harmonious.

So, healing actually takes place in consciousness. It is an improved state of thought. It is fear, limitation and lack being put out for a divine understanding of wholeness, justice, and peace.

“For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.” (I Corinthians 13:12)

“…put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.” (Ephesians 4:24 NIV)

We can strive to have this understanding and “put on” our real self-hood made in the image and likeness of God right now!

Heaven and earth are not two separate physical locations.

Here is one definition of heaven that I like:
“HEAVEN. Harmony; the reign of Spirit, government of divine Principle; spirituality; bliss; the atmosphere of Soul.” (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, Mary Baker Eddy, p. 587)

In an interview, Anita Moorjani, author of the book Dying to Be Me (who was healed of cancer through a positive change in her outlook about herself), says:

“In that realm I felt this incredible unconditional love and I knew that love was my birthright and it lifted my awareness.”

“In that state of clarity I realized it was incredibly simple — that heaven is loving and valuing yourself and knowing you are deserving and worthy. It didn’t matter whether I had a physical body. Whether I was in that realm or not, heaven was the same thing. It was about knowing this love and being aware of our connection to it. When your realize that you are worthy and deserving of everything God is, then you experience heaven.”

The more we get past thinking about heaven as a far off place, the more we can start recognizing this heaven here and now.

Christ Jesus proved the fallacy, or nothingness, of each claim of lack, sin and disease through his healing prayer. He demonstrated through his life and healing ministry that the law and will of God is restoration, health, wholeness and love for all, regardless of history or demographic.

St. Paul continued the mission of Christ by showing to that the Kingdom of Heaven is a tangible reality for all.

Christ Jesus commanded his followers to “Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give.” (Matthew 10:8 NIV)

This shows that all men, women and children have spiritual authority over these phases of evil and limitation.

We don’t have to wait for some future time to know and understand this. We can live the life that Christ Jesus demonstrated. We can heal ourselves and others through spiritual means (through an uplifted consciousness and awareness of God, good) right here and now because we have the will of God, which is unconditional love and goodness for all, enforcing itself for everyone.

Why do I love God?

emboss-infinityReligion may seem “dead” today, but it occurs to me that only material dogmas are really dead.

The love of God, and the love that God has towards us is very much alive. This is what “real” religion, or spirituality, is all about — that precious, tender relationship between God, man and all living things.

Why do I love God?

  • God is my Sustaining Infinite and Protector.
  • God is my Mind, and all of His/Her thoughts are lovely, loving and pure.
  • God’s Love is like a warm comforter on a cold, winter night that is always with me.
  • God’s Truth gives me direction and confidence.
  • God’s Soul gives me identity and identity to all living things in perfect unity. God’s Soul also gives me creativity, spontaneity and joy.
  • God’s Spirit is the substance of my being. It includes health, harmony and abundance.
  • God’s Life is my life. Forever and always.
  • God’s Principle is my solid foundation. The life, truth and love that I can never fall from.

These reasons for why I love God cause me to contemplate the question: how big is your God?

We can all expand our understanding and perception of God everyday. This spiritual understanding is the answer to every thing we need. It comprises the wholeness of who we are. It is basis for your health, your life purpose, your worth, and satisfaction.

This spiritual wholeness is illustrated in Christ Jesus’ statement, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.” (Matthew 22:37 NIV)
