A prayer for peace

balance-15712_960_720God, the universal Spirit, is the Source of all good and never the cause of evil. Good is a term that is synonymous with God. Good is governing the entire universe right now. Good lasts! Good is in harmony with itself and all creation. No one “owns” good because God is good. Good is abundant and always available for all people to rejoice in.

God saw all that he had made, and it was very good.

When we start with God, the Cause of all good, we start our prayers correctly.

We don’t have to react to evil or change our lives to accommodate, or make room for, evil.

We never have to stop living, being and see good!

There is no door through which evil can enter, and no space for evil to fill in a mind filled with goodness.

beautiful-16736_960_720God, good, is filling all space. Let that inform your actions. The goodness of God can be the only activity in consciousness when we are at one with God and living love in our daily actions.

The world is in our consciousness and our consciousness makes up our world. So let’s not be dominated by error. Let Good, Truth, dominate error in all our thoughts and actions.

Let’s choose to live in peace, to love all our brothers and sisters,  and not give up or give in to fear.

The evil thinker is the proud talker and doer. The right thinker abides under the shadow of the Almighty. His thoughts can only reflect peace, good will towards men, health, and holiness.

Peace is present right now.

Goodness involuntarily resists evil.

Repost: Riches of the heart

A story worth retelling!

For the past six years, I’ve served as a volunteer chaplain at a jail in Boston. During that time I’ve seen, beyond a doubt, that the qualities of God are alive and well, living and being lived in these places which would otherwise be very dark. Lots of people, when they go to jail, find themselves face to face with their mistakes and their problems, and want very badly to get past them.

3 ways to experience God’s love

Aren’t we all seeking a little (or a lot) more of God’s love? Don’t we, and the world, all want to experience unconditional love? A love that doesn’t judge. A love that embraces you and everyone all the time. Wouldn’t that be great? Here are 3 ways to experience more of God’s love in your life:

Be a transparency.
Each of us can experience God’s love by being a transparency for that love. Just like the glass in a window is warm when the sun shines through it, so radiating God’s love to those around you can warm and bless you! You will feel loved when doing so!

Hope.
Hope is the marriage between the consciousness of good and the expectancy of good. Expect good! This is your natural state. Don’t expect evil, sickness or fear. Focus on the good in your experience right now. This expectancy and awareness of good is a natural defense to the door of your thought and your life.

Gratitude.
Being grateful is a huge part of feeling God’s love. Counting our blessings helps assure us of the continuity of good. It assures us of the presence of good and fills our thought with joy! Give gratitude, give thanks, even in times of affliction, for all the strength, courage and grace that God is loving you with and giving you each moment.

We are all so loved and can shine it!

Today is the first day of my new blogging project. I will be blogging everyday going forward as a new way to give thanks to God and be conscious of God’s  loving relationship with humanity. I hope these posts will bless and inspire you, as they do for me when I’m writing them. Thanks for keeping up with my blog!
