God — our unchanging rock

God is strong enough to lean on. Isn’t it amazing? No matter how hard we lean, no matter if the whole world leans at the same time, God is strong enough to hold us all up, to bless us individually, and to reveal His/Her spiritual, healing power. God never runs out.

God is an inexhaustible Principle — an unchanging, omnipresent Love. No matter how things change on the human scene, God never changes. Divine Love never changes. Love is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

So no matter what challenges face the world or our individual lives, God is strong enough for us to lean on, draw power from, and an endless Source of spiritual inspiration. Like a waterfall pouring forth more water than we could hold, God is unconditional love pouring forth endless strength, compassion, and restoration.

God’s love never leaves us where it found us. When we lean on God, we stand up again strengthened, regenerated, and healed.

” . . . The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my savior;” — II Samuel 22:2

Praying about your future

When praying about the future and the need to make important decisions, I love praying with these 3 ideas:

  • He knows the angels that you need, And sends them to your side, To comfort, guard and guide.1
  • God gives you His spiritual ideas, and in turn, they give you daily supplies. Never ask for to-morrow: it is enough that divine Love is an ever-present help; and if you wait, never doubting, you will have all you need every moment.2
  • For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.4

I love to think of God’s angels as divine messages that we need at just the right moment. They supply us with peace, comfort, health, safety, and also meet our daily needs.

These angel messages counteract messages of doubt, despair, or lack. They assure us that we are at one with Christ, the true idea of God; that we are inseparable from God’s love and care. These ideas lead us and guide us to the best way to express that Truth in a way that blesses.

St. Paul was very sure of his inseparability from God, good. He said:

For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.4

And what was he able to do with that understanding? He was saved during a shipwreck, healed of a snakebite, and able to help and heal others. God has given each us the power, ability, and understanding to follow Him/Her with confidence, joy, clarity, and courage.

You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.5

Cherish your inner child

We all have an inner child. We can never grow out of it! This inner child is always there — waiting to be awakened, delighted in, nurtured, cherished, protected, listened to, and admired.

It doesn’t matter how old we are, we can never lose our inner child. This child within is our Christ identity. It is who we are as a divine idea of a divine Mind. We live, move, and have our being in this perfect Mind where all is healthy, well, calm, holy, and confident.

If we don’t feel that good is present — we can challenge that! We have the right to always feel and see what God is giving and knowing for us. We can claim those spiritual gifts, know that we have them, and express them as we go forward.

Claim your right to health, peace, and freedom. Claim your right to be fearless, courageous, and embraced in good. Know that God only wants good for you, and you live in the divine Kingdom. Know there is nothing that can tempt or trick you. Live with confidence of your divine rights because God gives each us the right to be free.

Express all that you want to see in the world — all the love, childlikeness, joy, innocence, and goodness. Radiate it. You will feel lighter, and the atmosphere of the world will be uplifted.
